About Me
My passion for Chiropractic began when I witnessed first hand how without the need for medication the hands on Chiropractic approach can make a huge change to a person’s life and well-being. A friend of mine was in chronic pain with a condition called scoliosis (an abnormal curvature of the spine) which in turn was affecting not only her ability to partake in sports but also her home life and education. She had tried all sorts of therapies and medications but nothing seemed to be effective. When she visited the chiropractor I went with her for moral support and out of curiosity. Seeing the improvements she made over the next few weeks and how that changed all aspects of her life had me hooked.
I am now inspired daily seeing my patients take ownership of their health and the improvements they have been able to gain through Chiropractic.
My Career
Since graduating University with a Masters degree in Chiropractic, obtaining my General Chiropractic Council (GCC) registration and becoming a member of the United Chiropractic Association (UCA) I have worked all over the south-west as a family chiropractor.
After covering a few shifts in Teignmouth Chiropractic and seeing how nice the staff and members of public were, when the opportunity arose to take on the clinic and look after the local community I couldn’t have been happier.
On a Personal Note
I am an extremely active individual and love all things outdoors. I enjoy keeping fit, climbing, surfing and cycling. My lifestyle is physically demanding and by receiving regular chiropractic care I am able to maintain my ability to care for others.
My Philosophy
It is my belief that when the spine is moving and functioning correctly and we provide ourselves with adequate exercise and proper nutrition, we have the basic ingredients for a healthy life.
